As a change leader, your mission matters. You are passionate about making the world a better place, fighting for social and environmental justice. You have a strong and compelling vision, but your organisation is not operating as effectively as you’d like. Perhaps there are relationship issues at senior leadership or board levels or in your strategic partnerships. Or the organisation’s structure and culture need to change to match your new scale and ways of working.

Quite possibly you’re not exactly sure what your problem is—you just know that things are not working as they should. As long as you don’t have a clear diagnosis and the right priorities, it’s going to be difficult for you to address your challenges.

You invest in mission-driven organisations or social enterprises. As they grow and succeed, some will reach a tipping point: what worked well in the past is no longer serving their needs. Perhaps the people in leadership positions need to develop new skills. Quite possibly the organisation needs to have new structure, systems and processes put in place to support its growing complexity. The culture has so far grown organically, but now needs conscious attention and shaping. With the right intervention now, the organisation will be able to evolve as it needs to.

Strategy development

Working collaboratively with you and your stakeholders, I deliver an independent assessment of your organisation’s fit for its purpose, together with actionable recommendations for change and how you can achieve that change.

Building organisational integrity and resilience

Culture, integrity, resilience, leadership—for me all these words are closely related. How you go about discussing them in the organisation will in itself have an impact on those dimensions. I help you think through both process and content to deliver an outcome that is welcomed, owned and championed by the full organisation, maximising the chance of success.

Supporting your people through change

Organisations often—perhaps even usually—underestimate the degree of deliberate thought, care and compassion needed to take their people through a change process. I too have learnt this through hard experience. I work with you to create a change strategy and plan to lead your organisation through change so that it is as positive and affirming as possible.

Executive leadership coaching

Any leader can benefit from a coach, and no-one more so than CEOs who can feel quite lonely within their organisation. I coach by listening deeply, identifying the underlying pain points, and helping you to reframe issues so that you can think about solutions in a new light.

Leadership team development

An aligned and determined leadership team can move mountains and lead their organisation through the toughest of times. But all too often, leadership teams are not fully aligned, and their lack of alignment creates ripples of dysfunction that spread through the organisation. I work with your team to expose critical misalignment, and to establish new team agreements and behaviours that will get the team and the organisation back on track.

Mentoring emerging leaders

Your emerging leaders need special attention to help them succeed and grow as leaders. They are likely to be ambitious and impatient, but also likely to be feeling insecure and unprepared. I mentor young leaders to help them take a step up to new leadership or management challenges. I help them see management as a 360-degree exercise and give them concrete tools and advice for mastering this complexity.
